Reaper on Windows Phone

Controlling a little black bodied/white faced creature, you are tasked with helping the denizens of the forest. Known as the Black Swordsman, players have their work cut out for them in Reaper. Understanding the limitations of the majority of mobile devices, Hexage have taken measures to insure gamers have fun.

For one, attacks are automatically performed when close to an enemy. Gamers that prefer the manual method can still hammer the attack button and take out enemies. Collecting gold is, just like any other RPG, a key component to advancing in Reaper. Don’t save, you cannot buy.

Playing RPG’s over the years has honed skills in attack, retreat, heal, repeat. That skill is one that has helped me complete some of the harder levels of Reaper with minimal hit point loss. The ability to jump and attack from the air is key to succeeding in this game. There are pits that you will cause death if fallen into and there are flying enemies that complicate your efforts to complete the level.

The overhead map is helpful in keeping your bearings as to where you are in the game world, much like the world map of Zelda II: The Adventures of Link or Super Mario Bros 3 on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Reaper for Windows Phone 8 is smooth and detailed. Developers have an understanding of the hardware their games will play on so they can optimize accordingly. For the RPG player that owns a Windows Phone, Reaper won’t disappoint. Recommending other titles similar to Reaper is nearly impossible since there are not that many titles in this style.

Windows Phone owners are usually left out in the cold on releases like this. That makes Reaper that much more interesting as it is available on Windows Phone 8, Android and the iOS platform right now.

Online Multiplayer PC Games

Now when we talk about multiplayer games, most of them cost money to buy and some even require monthly subscription costs in order to play online. The costs are related to the initial cost of the game and the server costs where we and other players will be playing against each other. But money is not always required for multiplayer games. There are those available where the games are distributed for free by their developers and the servers are hosted by players or groups who make them free. Other free multiplayer games are those where players will get to download and play for free, but for additional in-game benefits and items they will have to pay. So, we can see that multiplayer games come for free as well as for a price.

Now talking about free multiplayer games, there are lots of them but here I will share only a handful of them which I think are worth your time. Here is a list of five of them:

  • America’s Army: Now this is a series of game developed by the United States Army. You can download and play for free. This is a round base multiplayer game where you use your tactics as a soldier in the U.S. army. There is also a mobile version of America’s Army.
  • Team Fortress 2: Now this is one great multiplayer FPS game which is free. In this players choose their character and team to go against other players. There are different modes of play such as capture flag match, king of the hill and more. There are also different character types with different abilities.
  • Age of Empires Online: Age of Empires was the one that revolutionized strategy games. Now this age of empires is available online and the best part about this is that it is free to play. Create your first settlement, collect resources, raise an army and battle your way through different other civilization for world domination.
  • HEAT online: If you are into racing and if you want to get competitive with other players, then HEAT online sounds suitable for you. Race in a high-speed environment; try out different tracks with a wide selection of cars. Thousands of players will be competing against you for the winning prize. You can also chat with friends and create or join crews and play against other crews.
  • Maestia: If you are a fan of MMORPGs then this must be the right one for you. With top-notch 3D graphics and some epic battles that are quite a sight, this game is totally awesome. You get to choose from four different player classes with different skills. Create your player, battle in Player VS Player modes or join hands against others to kill insanely big and powerful monsters.

Solitaire Manual for the Novice

The game can be modified to become a multi-player game. The player decides on the scoring option to play by. It could be either the standard or the Vegas scoring method. The latter is a timed system that has been implemented to put time constraints into place, and to keep a count of the number of moves made. This makes scoring in the game relatively difficult.

The game has skill levels, with the higher levels being more complex than the lower levels. These skill levels usually present the diverse difficulties in re-arranging the deck to finish the game. There are also game options for the number of decks to play. It can be anywhere from one to four decks.

The card game has different variations, based on the layout of the board, the number of cards or decks, and the allowed moves. The variations include FreeCell, Spider solitaire and Klondike Solitaire. A player can access any of these variations as computer games, requiring only the basic Microsoft Windows operating system to run them. The games use flash technology, thus eliminating manual installation.

The game is also available online. A player obtains details of playing the game and its rules, and also gets to play Solitaire for free. Free downloads are available. In order for a novice to play Solitaire, and be successful at it, they should be familiar with the vocabulary of the game. This vocabulary refers to the terms that are common to the different variations. They include the term cell, which is a spot on the board layout in which only one card placement is allowed. There is also the foundation, which refers to a target suit that is arranged from Ace to King, moving upwards. When the layout is set, there is a pile of unused cards left. The term for these cards is stock. This stock becomes a waste pile, when only the first three cards are allowed to be used.

Disney Infinity

I got to skip most of the line because instead of standing at the Disney Infinity booth I checked out their demo kiosk at Nintendo’s. All of my hands on time with the demo was on Nintendo’s Wii U. That being said, the game didn’t really take advantage of the unique features that the system could bring with its Gamepad. This was mildly disappointing considering all of its potential but that’s another can of worms. What I did experience was a fun beat-em-up experience set in the Disney Universe.

The gameplay is strikingly similar to Skylanders: not exactly deep or engrossing but it was entertaining. The story mode has you playing in levels called Playsets. You can select the level based on what toy piece you put on the scanner (like the portal in Skylanders). For example, when I was playing on a The Incredibles‘ Playset, I was limited to Incredibles characters. Which is sadly very limiting but there’s much more than just Playsets to play around in.

The meat and potatoes of this game is the level editor which is called- appropriately enough- the Toy Box. In this you can create custom levels for you and your characters to play around in. In the E3 2013 trailer, you can find that it’s possible to create unique game modes with your friends. You could take it from sports or maybe even make your own version of a classic Mario stage. That’s one of the main reasons why I believe Disney Infinity will be a massive hit this year.

A slight problem I could see with Infinity‘s Toy Box mode is that it gives you almost TOO many options and it might be difficult for a younger player to make his or her own level. The demo showed older gamers expertly making complicated game modes and cities to zip around with their characters. I suppose it’s a good problem when one of the main issues of your game is that it has almost too many options for customization. It did look pretty easy to set everything up and make it work, so I’m sure the younger audiences will have no problems at least getting started. Besides, I saw Sully from Monsters Inc. use Buzz Lightyear’s jet pack. That’s just awesome.

Disney Infinity already has an advantage over Skylanders in its robust selection of brands. Disney has arguably the most recognizable characters in the world. From Mickey Mouse to Wreck it Ralph, there won’t be a shortage of playable heroes or villains for this game. When I asked one of the Disney: Infinity‘s spokesperson if there will ever be the chance of seeing Star Wars or Marvel characters in the game, he gave me a courteous nod and said “Wouldn’t that be something?” Take from this what you will, but it seems to me that this could very well be a possibility in the future. I’d love to see Boba Fett hang out with Woody from Toy Story.

I was also struck by the gorgeous art style they chose to go with the game. Somehow all the characters look like they belong in the same universe. They all have cartoony appearances to them and mesh incredibly well. Even Disney’s live action movie characters look great, from Lone Ranger to Captain Jack Sparrow. The levels look gorgeous too; it was often bright and vivid and everything had a spark of Disney charm to it. It was hard not to get all nostalgic.

Minecraft Server

The other server you are going to log on to is there to help players play the game with other players. This server may be serving tens of thousands of players at the same time.

If you want to connect to this server, what you need to do is go to the Multiplayer setting of the game menu and hit the “Add Server” option. The you should give it your desired name as well as the address. Here it’s a good idea to use the domain name instead of the IP address as IP addresses keep on changing and may cause confusion in the future.

Nowadays, Minecraft allows you to install the software for Minecraft server. And for this, you don’t have to get a Minecraft account either. But the problem is that the majority of servers run a custom version of the app, such as Spigot. This app enables custom plugins offering various features. These features enable special games and permissions.

You can also start your own server in your room. People will play the game on your server. However, if you want people from other parts of the world to play the game with you, we suggest that you open the port 25565.

Here you need to be careful. As soon as you be opt to the public, your server will be prone to hackers as well. They may get into your server with bad intentions. So, make sure you follow the directions given below if you want to be on the safe side.

  • It’s better to allow only your friends in the beginning. However, it will also be risky as they may share it with someone they know. But it will not be as risky as sharing it with the whole world.
  • Another way is to create a “whitelist” in order to allow certain people to connect. No one will be able to connect to your server except the people on the white list. So, this is an easy way of being on the safe side.
  • You can create regular backups. In fact, you should create backups on a regular basis. This will help you restore everything in case a disaster happens. Ideally, it’s better to create backups on an hourly basis.

Ultimate Madden Team

These are the game currencies in the MUT game. You can earn them by doing various gaming activities. You can see the total number of coins on-screen in the bar strip at the right corner of screens in the gaming mode. When the player earns or spends coins, the total updates soon. With these virtual currencies, you can add new members to the game and buy badges from the auction house.

There are various ways to acquire these virtual currencies in MUT. Here are some of the ways you can know-

  • Auctions- when the player wins the auction to buy an item, he gets coins. This is one of the best ways to get the virtual currencies.
  • Quicksell- most of the items are having options like Quicksell to get virtual currencies.
  • Complete sets- this is one of the easiest ways to get plenty of Madden 17 coins. Each of the series has sets that are easy to carry out. You can complete them and collect the credits as much you can to boost up your ranking.
  • Play the solo challenges- if you are playing the solo challenges, you can get the good amount of credits in your account. This not only helps in improving your rank but also help you to add players to the team.

The points are important, as they are helpful in buying the packs, bundles, and items in the game. Thus, this article is helpful as it provides information about the coins and points.

Strategy Games

Tower Defense is the first subcategory we brought up, so let’s start with it here as well. As the name denotes, the player uses towers to defend something. That something can be a base of operations, a group of defenseless civilians, or a priceless relic. Depending on the game, it could really be anything that fits that specific scenario. The way these are set up, the player makes decisions on what kind of towers to use to fend off the enemies. The towers usually have different abilities and cost varying amounts of money. He or she starts out with a certain amount of money to build the first set of towers, then earns more as the player defeats each enemy. These games also vary from scenario to scenario and the enemies can range anywhere from being a computer virus to being a caveman. Anyways, these baddies come in waves, and the player’s task is to do what he can during and in between these waves to fend them off with his towers. Turn-based Games are pretty self explanatory. The player uses turns to make decisions whether to attack, prepare for the next turn, or respond to a previous attack. Some more specific decisions to choose from might be using boosts, healing, or preparing a weapon for the next turn. These can overlap with RPG’s or with the Defend and Conquer subcategory because they sometimes use a turn-based interface.

RPG’s make up a subcategory in which the player may control one or more characters that have different abilities, and the player makes choices on how to develop each character as they progress in the game. The player can do things like use points to upgrade character stats, find better weapons and/or armor, or further develop specific fighting moves. To achieve these goals, the player must fight bad guys, level up, and collect loot. The Defend and Conquer subcategory is also self explanatory. The player starts with a base of some kind, builds resources, and spreads out to take over and defend other bases.

We’ve covered a lot of ground! We have discussed what a strategy game is as well as all the different types of strategy games that are available. The only thing left to do is to play them!

Day of Defeat

Shrapnel Sharp

With the added power of Source, DoD looks superb, but that wasn’t always the case. When early footage of DoD: Source surfaced earlier before its release it looked distinctly under-whelming: a half-hearted port from a company that isn’t known for doing things by halves.

Thank goodness then Valve saw the light and remodelled the levels from scratch. The amount of effort that has been put into each map is immense. Tiny, almost incidental, details fill every corner of a map turning them into miniature World War II battlegrounds. If you added grainy black and white filter it would be like watching a history channel documentary.

Light up, light up

Speaking of seeing the light, this is the first of Valve’s releases to use its new fangled High Dynamic Range lighting. To be honest it’s been rather hard to get excited about this new development, but beyond the boring techno-babble HDR is actually a very welcome addition.

In layman’s terms HDR is used to simulate the way that light affects the eye. So, for example, when you move from a dark passageway into the sunlight it takes a few moments for your virtual eyes to adjust to change. At first this seems a little odd, perhaps even jarring. However once you get used to it, you’ll never want to go back to plain-old dull lighting, which now looks artificial in comparison. HDR is another important step towards photo-realism.

Combined with the intricate map work and impressively modelled characters, comparing DoD: Source’s graphics to its older parent is like comparing Saving Private Ryan’s visual authenticity to All Quiet on the Western Front. Forget Battlefield’s cartoonish violence – this is online combat at its most visceral. Bodies crunch against walls from the force of an explosion, glass splinters and shatters and machinegun fire mangles soldiers and scenery.

War is hell (on your speakers)

The on screen carnage is complemented by a cacophony of fearsome audio effects. The weapons sound incredibly authentic, while some of the bigger bangs will threaten to send your subwoofer through the floor. What’s more the sound design makes for a more immersive battlefield- the faint sound of machinegun fire tat- tattering from around the corner gives way to screeching bullets as you frantic dash to cover.

Bullet in the head

Open ground is not somewhere you want to be for to long in DoD. When a single shot can take you out you’ll want to keep your head down as long as possible, using every nook and cranny of the map to keep out of sight and up the ante on your opponents. The detailed level design means there are plenty of places to find cover in or use as a vantage point. This can result in some players camping above and beyond the call of duty (forgive the pun) – which makes it all the more satisfying when a well-placed grenade takes out a machinegun nest or you sneak up behind a sniper to spadeface them with a shovel.

Sometimes a fortune favours the brave approach is required to succeed and win a round, either through a concerted push from the team, or some behind enemy lines solo sneakery. A lot of rounds will have the two teams to-ing and fro-ing, attacking and counter-attacking, across the map. Some will be vicious standoffs, with neither team able to make headway until someone pulls off a couple of good shots takes out a defensive position, opening the floodgates for a full assault.

Start Twitch Journey

Internet Speed

If you no Fiber connection, no problem. All you need is a 5Mbps ADSL connection that supports a minimum of 720p recording for a modem or router. As a new streamer, we suggest that you stream at 1800kbps, which is the bare minimum. Actually, the problem is that if you are not a Twitch Partner, you have to be in the list of top 10% Streamers.

Microphone

As far as streaming on Twitch goes, having a good microphone is a must. What you need is a good quality microphone that comes with noise cancellation. If you are looking for a wireless device, make sure that it won’t interfere with other wireless devices like your mouse or WiFi. Therefore, we suggest that you use a wired connection.

Webcam

Most people like streams with webcams. Actually, Twitch allows you to take a shot with an interval of a few seconds and show it as your stream thumbnail. So, the users will be most likely to click on your thumbnail and check out your stream. As a matter of fact, the thumbnail acts like a first impression and you know that the first impression is very important. So, investing in a good webcam is a great idea.

Overlay

If you don’t know, overlay refers to information that is sent to you for a glance. Some people opt for OBS, but you can also check out some paid alternatives like XSplit. You can create an Art Overly around the OBS, such as designing for the cam, donation alert and so on. However, make sure you take into account the DotA game resolution. With the right overlay, your scene will become more lively. They won’t be boring.

Games

You can’t compete with big streamers. Therefore, don’t think about popular games. Actually, for better rank on Twitch, you have to be among those who have the most viewers. In the beginning, you may want to give a go to a game that was released a long time ago. You can check out free games first.

Channel Moderation Bot

You may have noticed that channels have moderation bots too. You may want to have them too. All you have to do is visit bot channels and then send an invitation to it. Once moded, it will start moderating your chat. Once you have sent an invitation, you should sign into your account. These mods will keep spams and unwanted links away from your channel.

Get A Team Mate

Ideally, you may want to use Discord, not Skype. The reason is that it won’t consume a l of your system and bandwidth resources. The app is free to use. You can then talk to your teammate on Discord.

Legends Game Boosting

As with any game of this nature, part of game play is to advance through the ranks and get as strong as you can. And, of course, the stronger you are, the better your rewards for advancement and the easier the game might become. But, what do you do to advance in the ranks when you just do not have the time to devote to the process or you are just too darn frustrated to continue for a while? You might look into league of legends elo boosting to take care of this problem!

Basically, games boosting means hiring someone to run your account for you and work on gaining your advancements while you are unavailable, or using a games boosting service. If you hire someone privately, all of the terms, such as how much you will pay and how long the player will use your account, would be settled between just you and whoever you hire. You could talk to a friend or family member that plays LOL for a private games boosting arrangement. With a service, you are likely to be working with people you do not personally know but, the service will have a variety different packages available with preset prices and a whole team of other players that you can choose from. Either way you go, privately or through a service, the purpose for it is to let another player play your game and earn advancements for you.

A word of caution though. Giving your account information to anyone, for any account, can be risky so make sure you can trust whoever you decide to work with for your games boosting endeavors! A good hacker can use your one account to get into all sorts of other information related to you so do please be careful when looking for games boosting help. You might check reviews from other users and there might even be a listing with the Better Business Bureau. This sort of information can help you understand which services are trustworthy and which are not. As with anything online, it is always “better safe than sorry”.
